Abstract

Villages possess natural, social, cultural, and economic resources that can support development and community welfare. However, these potentials cannot be optimally promoted when village information is not systematically documented. Ilepadung Village, Lewolema District, East Flores Regency, has agricultural, plantation, tourism, and socio-cultural potentials, but previously lacked a structured village profile that could be optimally used as an information and publication medium. This community service activity aimed to develop an Ilepadung Village profile as an information document as well as a medium for promoting village potentials and strengthening village identity. The activity used a descriptive approach through observation, interviews, documentation, data collection, and consultation with the village government and customary leaders. The activity was conducted on 11–12 July 2026. The results show that the profile development process organized information on village history, geography, population, socio-cultural conditions, governance, economy, and local potentials. The resulting profile serves not only as documentation but also as an information source for introducing Ilepadung Village's potentials to the wider public and external stakeholders. The profile also provides an information base that can be developed into digital publication materials. Therefore, a village profile can function as an instrument for documentation, potential promotion, identity strengthening, and data-based village development planning. Program sustainability requires periodic data updating and the continued use of the profile as a source of village publication content.
